
In a gunshot that happened early on Monday in Seattle’s Yesler Terrace area, two individuals were hurt.
Around 1:30 a.m., police on patrol in the area of Boren Ave. S. and E. Yesler Way, according to Seattle Police, heard gunshots. They discovered a 63-year-old guy and a 41-year-old woman both with gunshot wounds.
After officers provided first aid, Seattle Fire Department medics transported the patients to Harborview Medical Center. The man was seriously injured, while the wife was in stable condition.
Officers were told by witnesses that a suspect left the scene in a car before they arrived.
More than a dozen bullet casings were gathered by police from the area. The suspect is still being sought after.
