
Terrifying scenes at Fairmount Park following a head-on collision that injured three persons, two of whom were severely.
According to police, a 2015 Chevrolet Impala travelling at a high speed lost control, veered into the opposing lane, and collided directly with a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe.
Just before two in the morning, the Impala’s driver and passenger were both thrown from the car as it caught fire in the 4300 block of Montgomery Drive.
The two cars appeared to have suffered significant damage, and the road was covered in broken glass.
The 44-year-old male passenger is in serious condition, and the 39-year-old male driver is in extremely severe condition.
According to police, the 47-year-old driver of the second vehicle is in stable condition.
