After evading a police stop in River North on Tuesday night, a driver struck six automobiles.

Around 9 p.m., his black car was stopped in the first block of West Ohio Street, according to Chicago police. As the police arrived, the man pulled a weapon from his waistband before fleeing the area and crashing into six more vehicles.

After a brief foot chase, the suspect was taken into custody. Police reported that he was caught with two firearms and drugs. There were no charges yet.
