After stabbing a woman, a man in East Garfield Park is shot by a another person

The wounded woman was transferred in excellent condition to Mount Sinai Hospital. The patient was brought in critical condition to the same hospital.

In the West Side neighbourhood of East Garfield Park on Friday night, a guy stabbed a lady before being shot by a different woman.

A guy approached a 33-year-old woman as she attempted to enter a home in the 700 block of North Spaulding Avenue at around 8:20 p.m. and stabbed her twice, once in the hand and once in the thigh, according to Chicago police.

Police claim that a second woman, age 54, arrived and shot the man many times.

According to officials, the younger woman was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in good health. The 62-year-old male was sent to the same hospital in a serious condition.

According to police, the older woman was escorted to Area Three’s main office. Charges have not been made public.
