At a pub in Boyle Heights, six people are shot when the shooter fires into the crowd

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the alleged shooter who opened fire into a gathering at a Boyle Heights nightclub overnight, injuring six people, is in custody.

The shooting took place at the Holiday Bar in the 2400 block of Whittier Boulevard at around one in the morning.

According to police, the suspect shot into the crowd as a result of an argument inside the bar. The suspect was held until police arrived by other patrons.

Inside the bar, police discovered three shooting victims. All three of them were brought to the hospital and are doing well. According to the police, three more shooting victims went to the hospital on their own to receive care.

Police reported that six people, including two women and four men, were shot.

Authorities report that a firearm was found at the scene.

The inquiry is still ongoing. Police are asking anyone with knowledge to contact them.
