Auburn Gresham collision leaves 3 people injured

An SUV struck another vehicle head-on in the 8600 block of South Carpenter Street. Police claim that the SUV’s driver fled the scene.

In a head-on collision that happened in Auburn Gresham on Wednesday night, three individuals were hurt, including two teens.

Around 5:30 p.m., they were travelling northbound in the 8600 block of South Carpenter Street when a Chevy Trailblazer slammed them head-on, causing their automobile to flip over and land in a nearby yard, according to Chicago police. The Chevy Trailblazer’s driver sped away from the accident.

According to police, a 21-year-old guy was brought with non-life-threatening injuries to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

According to authorities, the other two victims, both 17 years old, were also given non-life-threatening medical attention.
