The family from California that went missing and was reportedly abducted from Merced earlier this week has been discovered dead.
Aroohi Dheri, who was eight months old, her parents, Jasleen Kaur and Jasdeep Singh, both 27 years old, and the infant’s 39-year-old uncle, Amandeep Singh, were all discovered dead on Wednesday night, according to Merced County Sheriff Vernon Warnke.
Deputies thought the family had been abducted on Monday at gunpoint from a Merced company when they went missing.
“Our darkest worries have come true tonight. The four abducted individuals that we located are in fact dead “Warnke remarked.
“There are now no words to adequately express my current rage and the absurdity of this occurrence. I already said that this individual will have a special spot in Hell. And what we have to deal with here tonight is awful “In a tearful press appearance on Wednesday, Warnke remarked.
A day after the culprit, 48-year-old Jesus Salgado, was taken into prison, the announcement was made. Salgado attempted suicide and is now in critical condition in a hospital.
According to the authorities, at least one other person is also implicated.
Family relatives claimed earlier in the hunt that the victims of the kidnappings, who owned a trucking firm, were taken from an office that they had opened only a few days previously. According to the sheriff, authorities think the alleged kidnapper destroyed unnamed evidence in an effort to hide his tracks.
Salgado was remained unconscious in a hospital as of Wednesday night, according to the authorities, who have not yet interrogated him.
