
Following a shooting on the Coney Island boardwalk late on Saturday night, one guy is dead and four others are hurt.
According to the NYPD, the incident happened at Coney Island Beach’s Boardwalk and West 29th St. just before midnight.
After being shot in the back, a 42-year-old man passed away in the hospital.
A 34-year-old was shot in the right foot, a 46-year-old man was shot in the left leg, and another guy was shot in the left leg, along with a 49-year-old lady.
All five victims were taken to NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn by EMS. All of the survivors are described as being in stable health. At the moment, no one has been arrested. The inquiry, according to the New York City Police Department, is still going on.
The deceased victim’s identify has not been made public so that his family may be told first.
Five individuals have already been shot on the Coney Island boardwalk twice this summer.
A shooter opened fire on a gathering that was gathered on the promenade by West 21st St. in July about 2 a.m. In that shooting, one victim suffered a critical injury.
