A drive-by shooting occurred in the Bronzeville neighbourhood on Thursday morning, injuring two persons.
The men, whose ages were unknown, were on the sidewalk in the 3500 block of South Indiana Avenue just after midnight when a red sedan drew up and someone inside the vehicle opened fire, according to police.
A man was shot twice in the right leg and was taken by paramedics to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where his status was described as excellent, according to the police.
The other victim, who had his leg shot once, declined medical assistance when it was offered.
According to police, both victims resisted being questioned about the shooting.
