
In a drive-by shooting on Chicago’s South Side on Friday night, a 10-year-old boy was hurt.
Around 8:30 p.m., according to police, the youngster, his father, and two other people were walking on the sidewalk in the 1000 block of East 93rd Street when gunfire erupted from a red vehicle.
The boy’s father brought him to Comer Children’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left leg when he was still in fair health.
No one is being held in custody. Detectives from Area Two are looking into it.
