Driver caught performing burnouts in Garden Grove with 11 pounds of cocaine in his truck

As police responded to reports of street racing in the neighbourhood on Sunday in Garden Grove, they detained a man who was in possession of 11 lbs. of cocaine.

According to authorities, it happened on Katella Avenue at 10:30 p.m.

Authorities claim that as the suspect was driving a pickup truck and performing burnouts, officers initiated a traffic stop.

Five parcels wrapped in plastic were found by officers behind one of the seats when they searched the truck, according to the authorities. Later, it was discovered that the shipments had around 11 lbs. of cocaine.

After being detained, the suspect was lodged at the Orange County Jail. No specific charges were made public.
