Police reported that a suspect in domestic violence was apprehended in north Phoenix after barricading himself inside a house.
When police responded to a domestic violence incident at a home along Cave Creek Road and Tatum Boulevard, they allegedly found a guy pointing an airsoft pistol or BB gun at other residents.
During the standoff, the defendant, Nate Rogers, allegedly set the house on fire while refusing to exit.
Following the use of “less lethal” bullets by the police, Rogers was eventually taken into custody.
He is accused of several assaults and crimes against property.
