On Wednesday morning, a home invasion in Riverside resulted in a fatal gunfight.
At the Windemere apartment building off Sycamore Canyon Boulevard, it happened at two in the morning.
According to the police, at least two males attempted to break into an apartment, which resulted in a gunfight between the suspects and the resident of the residence.
Police say that although one of those individuals was dead, the resident should be fine.
There was no more information available right away.
