In a Lake County home, a man was shot and died

According to the Lake County sheriff’s office, Tino Roane, 37, was shot at about 12:40 a.m. on Thursday during a dispute in the 38100 block of North Loyola Avenue.

Because Roane knew the female owner, who wasn’t home at the time, he had opened the door for her. A physical altercation started after the 24-year-old asked Roane to leave the house several times, according to the police.

According to authorities, Roane reached for a knife in the kitchen before the 24-year-old shot and killed him.

Roane was discovered dead inside the house by police who had been called to a complaint of a shooting. According to an autopsy, he suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to the police.

According to authorities, the shooter was detained by the Lake County sheriff while still on the site. No charges have been made public.
