Around 2:30 a.m., a male suspect entered Jacovy King’s apartment in the 2000 block of East 72nd Place through the back door, according to Chicago police.

When they started bickering, the suspect pulled out a revolver and started shooting, according to authorities.

King was shot numerous times in the chest and was declared dead at the scene, according to authorities.

There were no detentions. Detectives from Area One are looking into it.
