
According to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Randal Wilson, 65, was shot in the chest while standing close to a home in the 400 block of North Hamlin Avenue.
On Friday night, a 65-year-old man was shot and killed in the East Garfield Park area.
Randal Wilson was shot in the chest at at 7:20 p.m. while he was standing close to the front of a house in the 400 block of North Hamlin Avenue, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital, where doctors declared him dead, according to the police.
No one was detained.
