
A shooting occurred Friday night in Homan Square on the West Side, leaving one person dead and four others injured.
The gang was waiting outside a house in the 3300 block of West Flournoy Street at 6 o’clock when a car came by and someone inside started firing, according to Chicago police.
Police reported that a 33-year-old male was struck numerous times before being taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead. He hasn’t been named yet.
Four additional individuals, ages 31 to 56, were shot and sent in excellent condition to Stroger Hospital, according to police.
