
According to Chicago police, he was wounded in the knee while strolling on a sidewalk in the 700 block of South Kostner Avenue on Sunday.
Early on Sunday morning, a 13-year-old boy was shot and hurt in the Lawndale district.
Around 1:30 in the morning, the adolescent was walking on the sidewalk in the 700 block of South Kostner Avenue when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Chicago police.
According to authorities, the teen was shot in the left knee and transferred to West Suburban Medical Center, where his status was rated as good.
No one was detained.
