
A Los Angeles man has been detained by police on suspicion of fatally stabbing and killing a man in Pasadena on Friday night.
The Pasadena Police Department reported that the stabbing took at around 10:55 p.m. in the 600 block of North Lake Avenue.
When police arrived, they discovered a man in the street with many stab wounds. At the scene, the unidentified male was pronounced dead.
Police found and detained a suspect in the attack shortly after they arrived on the scene.
26-year-old Los Angeles resident Sadarius Lawson has been named as him. Since then, Lawson has been lodged in jail while facing potential murder accusations.
The circumstances leading up to the fatal stabbing are being looked into by the Robbery Homicide Unit of the Pasadena Police Department.
Once the victim’s family has been informed of his passing, his identity will be made public.
