
A suspect has been charged with murder, five months after a 21-year-old man was shot and murdered in Rogers Park.
According to authorities, a man has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Rogers Park in May.
According to Chicago police, 20-year-old Isaias Salas is charged with two felony charges of murder and one felony count of armed robbery. Tuesday saw his arrest in the Addison suburb.
Hospitalized Julbert Hernandez, age 21, passed away.
On May 3, shortly after midnight, a gunman opened fire as Hernandez and another man were inside a parked car in the 7400 block of North Wolcott Avenue, according to authorities at the time.
Hernandez was brought to Evanston’s Saint Francis Hospital, where he was declared dead, while the other man received injuries.
