
Two days after being shot in front of a South Side Red Line CTA stop, a man passed away.
According to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office, Anthony Dinion, 40, and the other person were arguing outside the 69th Street stop on Sunday night when the other person pulled a revolver and started shooting.
Around 8:30 p.m., Dinion was shot in the thigh and rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition was described as critical.
The medical examiner’s office reports that Dinion was declared dead on Tuesday morning.
Police reported that nobody was in custody.
