
According to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, a homicide investigation has been launched in Pottstown following the deaths of two teens.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, upon responding to nine reports of gunfire near Fourth and Johnson Street, police discovered the male teenagers.
A car driven by one of the victims shot and killed the 18- and 17-year-olds.
Ten shot casings, one projectile, and a 9mm handgun with a destroyed serial number, according to authorities, were found at the scene.
The victims’ identities have not yet been made public, and Tuesday’s autopsy is planned.
The Pottstown Police Department is asking anyone with information to get in touch.
