Parke County crash results in one fatality

A weekend accident in Parke County results in the death of one Indiana man.

According to the Parke County Sheriff’s Office, this occurred on Sunday about 12:30 p.m.

This occurred close to U.S. Highway 41, between Coxville Road and Mecca Road, at the 132-mile marker. This region is frequently called “Snake Holler.”

According to reports, Brad Pollock of Veedersburg was driving north while Michael Myers of Waynetown was driving south when Pollock veered off the road at a bend and hit Myers square in the head.

Pollock was pronounced deceased at the spot.

For non-life threatening injuries, Myers and his passenger were taken to Union Hospital in Clinton.

According to the Parke County Sheriff’s Office, driving too fast had a part in the deadly collision.
