After being shot and being discovered in a pickup truck that crashed in a yard on Wednesday morning, Tacoma police launched an investigation.
Officers responded to allegations of gunfire and a car wreck in a yard at South 76th and Tacoma Avenue before 3:30 a.m.
Officers discovered a 42-year-old guy slumped over the steering wheel with a gunshot wound when they arrived.
According to Tacoma Police Department Officer Wendy Haddow, the man was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
The truck’s windows appeared to have been shot out when the reporters arrived on the site.
At the moment, there is no suspicious information.
