
According to Chicago police, a 14-year-old child was shot three times early on Thursday in the South Chicago area.
Around 6:45 a.m., a green SUV passing in the 8200 block of South Yates Boulevard opened fire on the youngster as she was walking down the street, according to the police.
According to officials, the boy was shot in the shoulder, hip, and abdomen. He was delivered to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition was noted as fair.
According to authorities, the shooter was last seen travelling north. No one was detained.
