Police in Phoenix are looking into a shooting that happened on Friday night and injured two individuals.
A statement claims that on August 19, the incident took place close to 7th Avenue and Southern.
According to reports, shots were fired after an argument at a nearby apartment building between an adult woman and a young male.
While the mother was hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries, the young male was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
A portion of the statement said, “As responding officers arrived, they made contact with the two victims as well as a number of witnesses and were able to identify an adult male suspect engaged in the shooting.”
There was no additional information provided about the suspect.
The inquiry is still ongoing.
