Three people are in custody after a 60-year-old man is killed in a fight in Dagenham

Following an altercation that resulted in the death of a 60-year-old man in East London in the early hours of today morning, police have detained three men on suspicion of murder (August 14).

At the intersection of Broad Street and Ford Road in Dagenham, on Sunday, August 14, at 12:06 a.m., police said they received a report of a dispute.

They found the man gravely injured when they came with London Ambulance Service, and despite their best attempts, he passed away there.

Two men, ages 26 and 36, were detained at the site on suspicion of murder. Since then, police have located a third male, age 23, who has also been detained on murder suspicion. While the inquiry is ongoing, all three are still in custody.

Prior to formal identification, the victim’s next of kin are being supported by specially trained police personnel after being informed of their loved one’s death.

A post-mortem investigation is also scheduled to happen soon.
