Woman killed in hit-and-run in north Phoenix

Police in Phoenix are looking into a hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles in which a lady was found dead in the street.

On October 18, just after 10:30 p.m., a collision took place close to Bell Road and 23rd Street.

According to detectives, a male car who was travelling westbound struck the unnamed woman as she crossed Bell Road heading south.

She was subsequently struck and killed by a second car that was also travelling west, according to authorities.

Police claim that the driver of the first automobile shown no signs of intoxication when it stopped at a nearby gas station.

The second car’s driver fled westbound and has not been located.
