A woman lost her life in a shooting at a Walmart in Lafayette.
The incident took place in the Walmart parking lot on Commerce Drive at 9 p.m. Sunday, according to the Lafayette Police Department.
The suspect, who was observed fleeing from the parking lot, was described by police as a Hispanic person wearing a t-shirt, a grey sweatshirt, and dark shorts.
According to police, there is still an investigation going on.
